At the foot of the rue Chavée, cross the N833 and head towards Hotton * on the right after the red house, follow a grassy path which runs along a stone wall (GR 57) and then crosses pastures. We will soon be discovering the Château d´Héblon. Go right along the fences to come out on a pretty square lined with beautiful old limestone houses including an old mill dated 1737 by the gable anchors. Go to the right. Note some old half-timbered buildings typical of Famenne. Join the N833 and cross it. Go to the left. Notice a few more stone farms. When you reach a small square with a bench and a lamppost, turn right, pass the ND du Bonsecours chapel and go up rue Inzefin which will lead you to a residential area on the heights of the village. Ignore a dead end to the right. At the top, "Y" on the left. The road flattens out and, in the gaps, there is a beautiful view of the village of Werpin *. The road ends in a stony path with a beautiful view towards the woods on the other side of the valley. On leaving the woods, ignore a small path on the right and continue straight. Go down a wide asphalt path overlooking the Ourthe until you reach the N833. Notice on the right a commemorative stone in memory of Arsène Soreil, writer born in Rendeux in 1893, professor at the University of Liège and winner of various literary prizes. Go to the right and take the 1st road on the right, direction Chéoux (Rue des Hêtres). Cross the small village of Nohaipré. On leaving the village, cross a small bridge to the right and climb directly to the left a steeply sloping road, bordered in spring by knapweeds, officinal marshmallows, field bindweeds, eupatory sourcorns, false broths, millefeuilles, etc. The road becomes a stony path and enters the woods. Soon a bench invites you to stop and admire the village of Werpin * on the left and, more to the right, Magoster, located on the heights on the other side of the Ourthe valley. "Y" on the left. We enter the wood of Hampteau *. "Y" on the left. Very beautiful beech grove crossing a quiet area of the DNF (Nature and Forests Division of the Walloon Region): stay on the main path. After a long flat, the descent begins: at the crossroads (reservoir), continue straight. Notice on your right some very tall larches. Next crossroads: right. Steep descent: stay on the main path, quite muddy and difficult in places. Out of the woods, marvelous panoramic view.

A few holes in the woods will allow you to discover beautiful views of the village of Werpin *. The path descends rapidly towards the valley. Turn right onto the Ravel and pass over a small stream bordered by wild garlic. On your right is the orchard "Under the apple tree". Pass in front of the school and at the "T" turn left to reach the starting point.
